Megan & Ryan

Are getting married!

October 22, 2022

Eleven Years in the Making

Megan and Ryan met when they were both 16 year old sophomores at Ann Sobrato High School in Mr. Lynn's first period chemistry class. Ryan had his eyes set on Megan for some time, Megan took more time to convince. However, after their first date to the Morgan Hill movie theaters to see "The Fast and Furious, " Ryan offered to leave the movie and sneak into  the movie "Soul Surfer" next door- sensing Megan was not the biggest fan of " The Fast and Furious" franchise, she knew he was a keeper.

They hit things off quickly and were inseparable through the rest of high school. They walked across the stage at high school graduation together in June of 2013 and set off for 4 years of a long distance relationship while they were both in college. Megan completed nursing school in May of 2017 and accepted her first nursing job in October of 2017 at UCSF. Megan and Ryan moved in together in December of 2017 in San Rafael, where Megan could commute to work and Ryan could complete his college education at Sonoma State University. Megan continues to work in San Francisco and Ryan is now a manager at In N Out Burger in Santa Rosa- San Rafael has been their perfect little middle ground and have loved making it their place together.

Ryan proposed to Megan on April 2, 2021 at Lover's Point in Monterey on the first day of an already planned weekend getaway. They enjoyed an engagement weekend in Monterey and Santa Cruz and continue to love to celebrate their love, we can't wait to celebrate with all of you on

Q&A

Where will the ceremony and reception take place?

The ceremony will take place at the Mendocino Bay Overlook and the reception will take place at Spring Ranch Mendocino. There will be shuttles provided to take guests to and from the ceremony.

If you choose to stay in the town of Mendocino (see above for our recommended places to stay) , we will be able to shuttle guests to the ceremony and shuttle back to your accommodation from the reception at the end of the night.

If you choose to drive, there is plenty of free parking at Spring Ranch Mendocino and you will be shuttled to the ceremony site.

What COVID-19 precautions are we taking?

Because each of you are precious to us, at this time we respectfully require proof of full vaccination and booster or negative covid test upon arrival.

Please be responsible in monitoring your own health and NOT attend any wedding festivities if you are not feeling well. We have wedding guests who are immunocompromised and at risk, so we thank you in advance for your understanding and care for one another.

We will continue to monitor the situation and will update you with any changes to these precautions.

What is the dress code?

We would love to see our guests dress up with us! The dress code is semi-formal: please no jeans, sneakers, or baseball caps. Please refrain from wearing colors traditionally reserved for the bride- white, ivory, cream. The terrain will not all be paved, so blocked heels or flats are recommended. Coastal Mendocino weather can be temperate, so we recommend bringing layers.

Can we bring our children?

We love your kids, but this will be an adults only event.

Can I bring a date?

If your invitation says "and Guest" or your date is named, then yes, otherwise we can only accommodate those named on the Save The Date.

Can we bring our pets to any of the wedding events?

Unfortunately due to insurance purposes, no pets will be allowed at any wedding events.
